Welcome to my blog site and thanks for stopping by. I grew up in Phoenix/Tempe in Arizona. In my formative years I took months long road trips across the USA where I came to appreciate the benefits of food, clean bathrooms, and showers. I learned to love photography in high school. Since then, I have continued to pursue and enjoy the hunt for the perfect shot. I've worked as a photojournalist, sports, and wedding/events photographer. The VP through the years. This little silliness came out of the mix of different light bulbs we’d collected over time, and they reminded me of the mix of people depicted by the Village People (YMCA) band from the 70’s. Hence the New VP.😎

The Holga Medium format toy camera is popular with many photographers for its wispy photos and dreamy looks, thanks to the cheap plastic lens it has. I took up the challenge to try some shots myself. The sharper looking photos are with my 35mm Nikon FE 2. A little this and that with both.
